born Leonard
Gakinya
was found hanging from a radio tower in downtown Springfield,
Mo. While local police assert that his death was a suicide,
Brother Gakinya's family vigorously disputes this conclusion. Leonard
Gakinya's death recalls a triple lynching of three innocent
Black men in Springfield's square on Easter weekend 1906.
These men were hanged from a city-owned tower.

34 counts of child molestation, one count of sexual
exploitation of children, and two counts of influencing

the plea agreement negotiated among his attorneys and federal
and state prosecutors, York received a 50-year sentence on the
state charges. With consideration of the eight months he has already

he could be eligible for parole in approximately 12 yrs.
